Mission/Donations

The Avon Citizens for Change is dedicated to improving our community by creating an environment of trust and respect with our elected officials. We promise to work tirelessly to improve conditions in our community and affect positive change in the world around us. We affirm the importance of working together to find solutions. Avon Citizens for Change will operate lawfully and respectfully in all matters. We will not profit from our endeavors. We believe in fairness for all. Avon Citizens for Change will not waiver in the conviction to create a better community for all citizens.

We will continuously remind our elected officials to be respectfull, forthright, and honest to the community which has elected them to represent our interests.

Our organization is commited to protecting the interests of all citizens of Avon, Ohio. We will work with all residents to ensure that the politicians are performing their duties to the best of their ability and are not making decisions based on hidden agenda's or personnal gain.

We will, to the best of our ability, use this website to report facts. We will give everyone the opportunity to provide information they feel is relevent to our cause. Keep in mind, that in many cases this will be the opinion of the individual and not of our committee.

Donations

Due to overwhelming support and request from the Avon community, we have decided to register our committee as a PAC. PAC which stands for a political action committee, allows us to now accept public donations. We have opened an account at Fifth Third Bank here in Avon. To make a donation by check or money order, please make them payable to Avon Citizens for Change. These donations can be sent to the P.O. box listed below or if you prefer, they can be made in person at the Avon 5/3 branch which is located at:

Notify the teller that you are making a donation to Avon Citizens for Change and they will take care of you. We pledge to you that all donations will be used to assist Mary Jane Wolfe in our fight against the Avon school board. Any donations not used once we win this fight, will be donated in Mary Jane's name to an Avon school related organization such as the PTA or Booster's Club
